Could you be our new assistant manager?
Due to maternity leave Blair Drummond Smiddy Farm Shop has a vacancy for an Assistant Manager to help run our busy retail and catering outlet.
Following a trial period the initial contract will be for 12 months, and will be full time (40 hours per week) from July. Depending on the candidate’s availability there will be a part time position available from May. Following the year’s contract there is likely to be a part time job available which may well become full time, depending on the suitability and performance of the candidate.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record in retail and/or catering management. They will have excellent people skills and be able to relate to staff and communicate well with customers. A keen interest in food is desirable.
